Ellen Cowan works on digital strategy, new client development, marketing, and communications at DOOR3. She brings twelve years of software consulting, digital strategy and business development experience in the areas of cross-platform application development, mapping business process to applications, and online collaboration tools.
Ellen has worked as consultant and product advisor for online community, social networking and CRM projects for HiveLive (RightNow Technologies), LinkedIn, TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, Hearst Corporation, Kraft, 3M, and EDR (Environmental Data Resources), for which she provided social media and online collaboration strategy to support an Groundswell Award-winning B2B marketing community.
In recent years, Ellen served as a guest analyst for I4CP (the Institute for Corporate Productivity) where she led executives in analysis and discussion of marketing tools, CRM, social networking, Web 2.0 and communications solutions available to support communications (customer, partner, employee), learning and development, and and recruitment marketing. At DOOR3, she leads business development (new client development, consulting and digital marketing).
Ellen holds degrees from Yale University, The San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Columbia Business School.
